Our policies
What to know before you book. Prices are set by the spa and shown on the booking page.
Booking and deposits
Book online or call the front desk. A card holds a booking for the cabin for a group, or for two or more treatments at once, and it goes toward your visit. A single treatment doesn't need one.
Canceling and running late
Please tell us at least 24 hours before your time and we will move it or cancel it without trouble. If you arrive late, we shorten your treatment so the next guest isn't kept waiting. Snow happens: if the roads are bad, call and we will move you.
If you miss an appointment
If you miss a visit without telling us, the card on your booking may be charged under the spa's terms, which you see before you confirm. Call us if something comes up; we would rather move you.
Children and companions
Treatments are for guests 16 and older. A parent or guardian books for anyone under 18 and stays in the building. The sauna cabin is for guests 18 and over. A companion is welcome to wait in the front room.
Patch tests and allergies
Tell us about allergies and sensitivities when you book and again at the talk before your treatment. We can tell you every product we use, and we will test a product on a small area of skin first when you ask.
If you're not happy
If you aren't happy with a treatment, tell us within a few days and we'll make it right.
Tipping
Tips are welcome and never added to your bill. Leave one at the desk or on your card for whoever looked after you.
Using the thermal areas
Wear a swimsuit in the sauna cabin, and rinse before you go in. The cabin is for guests 18 and over, private for the hour and booked for up to about four. Step out whenever you like, and tell us if you feel dizzy or unwell. The last cabin hour starts an hour before closing.
When to ask your doctor first
If you are pregnant, have a heart condition or have been told by your doctor to take care with heat, ask your doctor before you book the cabin, hot stones or a warm wrap. Prenatal massage also needs your doctor's go-ahead. We may ask you to check with your doctor, and we will tell you if we think a doctor is the better next step.
Phones and quiet
Please keep your phone in your locker. The front room, the cabin and the treatment rooms stay quiet, and there are no photos where guests are changing or resting.
